Blethery is a small app for friends. Here is what it keeps, who helps run it, and how to make it forget you.

What we keep

  • Your name, email and photo from Google, so you can sign in.
  • Your conversations, their transcripts, and the voice recordings behind them.
  • Your cards and your answers to them, with the audio.
  • The note your partner keeps about you, so it remembers who you are.
  • Your payments: amounts and dates. Never your card number. Stripe holds that, not us.

How long

Until you delete your account. Then it’s all gone, except the payment records, which we keep with your name taken off so the accounts still add up.

Who helps run it

To hear you, think of a reply and speak it, your words and voice go to these services, only for that:

  • Vercel, which hosts the app and stores recordings, and its AI Gateway with the model makers behind it: Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Microsoft, xAI and Fish Audio.
  • Cartesia, ElevenLabs, AssemblyAI, Soniox and Speechmatics, for voices and listening.
  • Neon, for the database.
  • Stripe, for payments.
  • Google, for sign-in.

What we don’t do

No ads. We don’t sell your data or share it with anyone else.

Deleting your account

Go to Settings and tap Delete my account. Questions? Ask the friend who invited you, or Jack, who runs Blethery.
